What happens if I take a guest without paying?
Any member who takes a guest without pre-paying the $10 guest fee will result in a $150.00 fine without notification on their credit card. This is strictly enforced to ensure the safety of our members. DO NOT TAKE GUESTS WITHOUT PAYING, THAT IS THEFT AND YOU WILL BE FINED.

Can members take a guest?
Yes, members are permitted to take a guest by logging on and paying the $10 guest fee before you enter the facility. There are two options to purchase. Members can pay directly on their online profile using the "BUY" button, selecting packages, and then guest pass. Or, the guest themselves can purchase a guest pass using the link below. It is your responsibilty as the member to confirm the guest pass was purchased. "I thought they bought the pass" is not an acceptable excuse and you will be fined $150 if they did not.

I want to workout with other members,
can we do that?
Yes, multiple members can book cage time in a row or at the same time to utilize more space or time, but every player must be a member. Also, any one member can not book more than the permitted thirty minutes. No more than 2 members in any cage or tunnel at any given time. No team practices or groups are allowed in this manner. The nature of the privilege is to allow members to work out in pairs if they choose. If you have three or more members who want to work together, please get pre-approval by texting Chris. Teams and groups can RENT cages and the facility anytime by texting 412-953-9234 ​​​

I know my buddy is a member,
can he walk in with me?
No, if multiple members arrive at the same time, they must each use their own code to access the facility. This means one member enters, the door closes behind them, then the next member enters their code to access. Failure to do so, the member whose code was entered will be charged a $150.00 fine per person without notification. Please note the facility is under 24-hour video surveillance.

Can I bring a trainer, coach, or catcher with me?
No outside trainers, coaches, or catchers are allowed to participate in a member's cage time. Only parents and guardians who live in the members household can work with members in the cage. If someone outside the household (grand parent for example) wants to go workout with the member, prior approval from Chris is required. CSide trainers are available for hire. Catchers for pitchers are considered guests and must follow the guest and access rules number 1 through 4.

Can I take my own bucket?
No, you can not take your own bucket. We provide premium balls and training equipment and do not want any of it accidentally leaving the facility which could result in theft and fines. Everything you need is at the facility except your bat, glove, and helmet. Members are welcome to take a chair if they want a seat, just be sure to take it when you leave. If you require 11" softballs, you will need to get special permission by texting Chris at 412.953.9234. You cannot use 11" softballs in any of the machines. Pitchers are permitted to take ONE BALL of their choice to throw bullpens.

How long do the memberships last?
Memberships are six month contracts that auto roll into month to month. While registering, you will only have to pay the first month plus a $25 activation fee which activates your security access code. After the initial six months, you can cancel anytime with a 15-day notice before the next billing cycle by texting Chris at 412-953-9234. He will send you a confirmation text.

How often can I reserve cages?
Members can book one cage thirty minutes per day and no more than ten days in advance. However, members are welcome to stay as long as they want if their cage or other spaces are available. Any additional bookings will be deleted without notice. Don't worry, our facilities are very large and the number of memberships are controlled, so there's almost always extra space.

I have multiple children, can they all use one membership?
Yes, memberships are per household family. If you have multiple children, no worries, they all can utilize one membership. However, you can still only reserve one cage per 30 minutes per day. But don't worry, our facilities are so large there is almost always extra cage time available for you to jump into another cage during or after your reserved time.

Do I have to book my cage time online?
No, but it is recommended to reserve your cage online during booking hours to ensure you get the space you want. Anyone who books the cage has first rights over any walk-in. Cages are available to book online from 2:00pm - 10:00pm on weekdays and 8:00am - 8:00pm on weekends. Walk in's have access 24 hours. Please note, occasionally we have the entire or partial facility rented to teams and trainers during booking hours. You may want to look online before walking in during booking hours to be sure cages are available.

​​I'm not using my scheduled cage time, what do I do?
Please cancel any reservation that you will not be attending by using the "My Schedule" button on your profile. This will open the cage back up for other members to book.

What kind of shoes can I wear?
Rubber and metal cleats are not allowed, they destroy hitting mats and create holes. Please wear tennis or turf shoes. When using the groundball tunnel, be sure to move the rubber mat to the first hop to avoid turf damage also.

Can teams or groups rent the facility?
Yes, you also do not have to member to rent the facility. Facility rentals are vital to help cover operating costs and keep member rates low. All rentals go directly through Chris at 412.953.9234. Please see our rental page for more information A team access code will be created that works 30 minutes before and after the reserved time.

How many members can be in a cage?
No more than 1 Hitter and 1 Feeder are allowed in the cage at any one time while hitting. Live pitching with a catcher vs hitters is allowed but requires the use of an L-Screen to protect the pitcher and helmets on hitters are required. Pitchers must remain behind the screen and in front of the machines at all times.

Can I share my code?
Absolutely not. Your code is assigned directly to you. Security and Maintenance are very important to everyone. Members are not allowed to give out their code to anyone. This will result in immediate expulsion and the remaining balance on their contract will be collected. You may also be prosecuted for theft if the code was used by anyone other than you. Propping the door open is also prohibited and will also result in the cancelation of your membership and fines. ​​​​

Are there any staff at the facilities?
No, the facilities are not staffed by CSide or BAT 24. Please participate at your own risk and always use caution and common sense. Please note the facility is under 24/7 video surveillance. Any issues do not hesitate to contract Chris at 412.953.9234

My cage time is done, how do I leave?
Please pick up all balls and trash in and around your cage, even if you didn't make the mess. Be sure to check for balls behind the backstop and along the netting edge. Place the bucket and tee back on the hitting mat, then place the L-screen back in the middle of the cage. Please help keep your facility clean, safe, and ready for the next member. Leave the facility better than you found it.

Is the facility under video surveillance?
Yes, you are being video recorded and monitored by a 24-hour security company inside and outside the facility. Please do not use an emergency exit unless there is an emergency. In the case of using an emergency exit, you must notify Chris immediately at 412-953-9234.

Do you have a lost and found?
No, we do not have a lost and found and we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Occasionally, other members will leave lost in found goods near the entrance at each facility. We strongly suggest you go back immediately to find your personal belongings

Are helmets required?
Yes, helmets are required to use during machine usage or live pitching. Safety never takes a vacation, protect yourself.
