Chris Sidick
Hitting, Outfield, Infield
Chris graduated from Canon McMillan in 2001 and from Marietta College in 2005 with a sports management degree. He was an All-American in both baseball and football who has set nearly every offensive Frontier League record and was named top 10 Minor League Prospect by Baseball America in 2006. Chris began CSide in 2005 and he has expanded to five locations. His efforts were noticed by the Small Business Development Center and the US Congress, as they awarded him the Eastern US Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011.

Hector Roa
Hitting, Outfield, Infield
Hector, our lead trainer, has the most professional experience after Cory. A highly technical coach, he works with elite talent and sets high expectations for his clients, pushing them to reach their full potential. Hector began his baseball journey at Camden Catholic High School before signing with an MLB affiliate at 15. He later joined the Houston Astros in 2012, where he played 4 seasons, posting a .244 batting average with 35 home runs and 122 RBIs. Hector finished his career with the Washington Wild Things and is a mentor to all trainers. With a legacy is deeply rooted in baseball as his father played in the bigs for many years, Hector is truly part of our familia.

Tyler Reis
Hitting, Infield
Tyler is an energetic trainer known for connecting with players of all talent levels in both baseball and softball. He excels in infield training and is adaptable with drills, whether on the field or in the cage. Tyler completes over 3500 lessons per year and is known to make extra time for his clients. He also runs many productive camps throughout the year. A Pittsburgh native, Tyler recently finished his first pro season with the New Jersey Jackals and Washington Wild Things. A former 4-year starter at Waynesburg University and Penn Hills High School, he also manages his motivational apparel brand, Fearless Ambition.

Ian Hess
Hitting, 1st Base
Baseball/Softball Private Lesson
Ian is one of our youngest trainers, but his growing clientele and impressive career speak volumes. Known for his high energy and fun lessons, Ian quickly helps players improve their game. He's skilled at communicating with athletes of all ages and skill levels, making him our go-to trainer for new clients. Ian was trained by Chris from a young age, and his lesson style reflects that. A former team captain at Canon-McMillan, he led the Big Macs to a 2018 WPIAL and State championship. At Gannon University, Ian set records as the program's all-time home run leader and ranked in the top 10 in multiple offensive categories. He also achieved back-to-back seasons with a 1.000 fielding percentage.

Dylan Procopio

Dylan is a high-energy, personable trainer with a kind personality. He trained under Chris at CSide since a young age and played for the Pittsburgh Outlaws for a decade. Currently chasing his pro baseball dreams, Dylan signed his first contract last summer and excels in both hitting and infielding. A Pittsburgh native, he was a 4-year starter and team captain at Keystone Oaks High School and Wilson College. Dylan recently completed his first pro season with the Black Sox and had a short stint with the Washington Wild Things. Dylan is rapidly growing his clientele at both C-Side and BAT 24

Derek Reddy

Baseball/Softball Private Lesson
Derek is our primary pitching instructor, using technology like Rapsodo in his sessions. With a strong baseball background, he also coaches at Seton Hill University. Derek previously ran his own facility in Florida and had a .300 professional hitting statistic. He's skilled at spotting and fixing mechanical flaws quickly. A 2-sport athlete in college, Derek played for the Puerto Rico Islanders, Ruidoso Osos, and High Desert Yardbirds, winning MVP in 2019. He played for the Milwaukee Milkmen and Lexington Legends before retiring in 2022 after a sucessful independent baseball career.

Eli Snider

Baseball/Softball Private Lesson
Eli, a Seton Hill graduate and Certified Exercise Physiologist, specializes in high-intensity Power+ workouts and hitting instruction. Trained under Chris since age 7 and on top of his private lessons, he also heads up the Power+ program. A key member of Seton Hill's championship teams, Eli earned 2 rings and 3 titles. His approach focuses on functional movements to enhance strength and explosiveness. Fun fact: his dad is radio personality Bubba from 100.7 Star.

Cory Berliner
Fast-pitch pitching
Cory, an NFCA-endorsed pitching coach, OnBaseU Certified Coach, and NASM Personal Trainer, uses advanced tech to refine mechanics. At Pitt, she set the career ERA record (2.03), ranked top 5 in multiple categories, and led the team to its first wins over ranked opponents. Ben Miller
Hitting, Catching
Baseball/Softball Private Lesson
Ben, a full-time child psychologist, specializes in coaching young athletes, including those with ADHD or unique learning styles. He leads all catching instruction, training top baseball and softball receivers in the WPIAL and local college circuit.
A former Waynesburg University captain and three-year starter, Ben also managed a Washington County team in the 2019 Pony League World Series. He and his wife own a child counseling practice.

Ashley Parello
Hitting, Fielding
Baseball/Softball Private Lesson
Ashley has been with us for over 10 years, earning excellent client feedback. A collegiate coach at Case Western Reserve and a full-time civil engineer, she specializes in mechanics and movement efficiency. A former standout player at Case Western, she was a two-time All-UAA selection and 2014 UAA Championship MVP. Now in her sixth season as an assistant coach, she helped lead CWRU to a historic NCAA Championship run in 2018.

Saige Jenco
Hitting, Outfield
Baseball/Softball Private Lesson
Saige, a former pro player and elite coach, is a mechanically focused instructor. He serves as Head Assistant Coach and Portal Recruiting Coordinator at Wheeling University.
A three-year starter at Virginia Tech, he led the ACC in hitting, stolen bases, and OBP, earning All-ACC and All-Virginia honors. Drafted by the Red Sox (2015) and Dodgers (2016), he later played for the Washington Wild Things and is now pursuing a music career.

Kaitlyn Morrison

Baseball/Softball Private Lesson
Kaitlyn, a former CSide student, joined our staff in 2024 while working as a full-time teacher. A high-energy, technical coach, she trains softball players at the highest level and works with baseball players 12 and under. A 2019 South Park graduate and Penn State standout, she was a four-year captain, All-Big Ten selection, and record-setting hitter. She excelled academically as a multi-time Big Ten Scholar and NFCA Scholar-Athlete. Kaitlyn helped lead PSU to NCAA Regionals in one of the program’s most successful seasons. Mo has trained under Chris' since 9 years old.

Josh George

Baseball/Softball Private Lesson
Josh combines his baseball and softball expertise with a dynamic, high-energy coaching style, making him an excellent trainer for all ages. He emphasizes clear communication and engaging instruction. A standout athlete, Josh was a four-time All-State selection in both baseball and basketball before playing collegiate baseball at Southwestern Oklahoma State and Oklahoma State University. After moving to Pennsylvania, he transitioned to men's softball, competing at the highest levels and earning multiple World Championship rings.
Now retired from playing, Josh coaches for the Pittsburgh Outlaws.

Mike Marcischak

Mike is a trusted trainer for camps, umpiring, and fill-in instruction, known for his consistency and expertise. He also trains a small client base during off-times and holidays.
A Chartiers-Houston graduate, he played at Potomac State, earning Region XX MVP honors and leading his team to two NJCAA World Series appearances. He continued at Pfeiffer University, earning All-Conference honors with a .417 batting average.
Now a registered PIAA baseball, football, and softball official, Mike also coaches youth travel softball and was inducted into the PA Sports Hall of Fame in 2011.

Cam May

Baseball/Softball Private Lesson
Cam graduated from Trinity High School in 2018 where he played baseball all four years. He also trained at CSide while playing fo the Pittsburgh Outlaws program for six years. After high school, Cam attended Duquesne University to receive his degree in Marketing and then moved on to the University of Cincinnati for his Master's degree in Sports Management. Cam began his coaching career at Trinity High School in 2022 as an assistant before becoming the head JV coach for Canon McMillan High School. He is now back coaching at Trinity while in his second year coaching with the Pittsburgh Outlaws. Cam is very passionate about baseball and excels at coaching, so we are excited to welcome him to our staff.

Roger Marino

Marino Speed & Agility
Roger specializes in speed and agility training, offering session-based packages like private lessons. A former Wake Forest baseball player, he holds a degree in Health and Exercise Science and a Master’s in Physical Therapy.
With nearly 20 years in orthopedics and sports rehab, he is a Certified Speed & Agility Coach and expert in movement assessment. As Manager of Outpatient Rehab at Washington Health System, he works with athletes of all levels to enhance performance and reduce injury risk.

Kaitlyn Jagielski
Hitting, Catching
College Trainer
Kaitlyn Jagielski grew up in McDonald, PA, and attended West Allegheny High School. She was a WIPAL Champion in her freshman year in 2019. She went on to excel in college softball at the Division 2 level at Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware. Kaitlyn played 35 games her freshman year while batting .328 leading the team in doubles. Athletically and academically, she is an NCFA Athlete and an honor Student. During her fall season as a sophomore, she decided to transfer to Waynesburg University to continue her education and softball career and will graduate in 2026.

Aaron Carothers

Aaron graduated from Altoona Area High School, where he was a 3 year starting catcher. Even though offers rolled in to play collegiately, Aaron chose to play college football. He went to Washington & Jefferson College, becoming a 2 year starter on the Football team and graduating with a degree in Business + Finance, all while being an assistant trainer at CSide camps. Aaron is now graduated and is working for Herrnberger Erie Insurance across the street! So he will be offering lessons as a part-time instructor.

Stephanie Binek

Stephanie Binek is from Bridgeville and currently attends Arcadia University. She is majoring in biology with a pre-med focus currently in the honors program while pitching for the softball team. Steph played travel ball on Steel City Athletics Lantzy for five years. She graduated from South Fayette High School lettering all four years and name team captain while earning all-section honors all four years! She has been a student of our lead pitching instructor Coach Cory for the past seven years. Steph describes Cory as being her rock when it comes to pitching. She couldn’t ask for a better pitching coach who helps her to be her best and that’s what Steph hopes to be for her pitching students.

Alyssa McCormick

Alyssa McCormick is from North Huntington, PA and is currently attending Fairmont State University. She is majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Nutrition. Alyssa plays for the softball team, assists in the FCA program, is part of the President's Advisory Committee, and is a co-leader of the Social Media committee for Fairmont State's SAAC. Alyssa participated in varsity high-school softball at both Thomas Jefferson and Norwin High School, where she lettered all 4 years and received Highest Academic Honors. She states a pivotal part of her softball career was the incredible mentorship she received from Cory over the past 7 years. Now, as she transitions from being a player to an educator, she is filled with enthusiasm to carry forward the guidance and support that Cory so generously provided.
